Problem.
Unwanted hair on the face, arms, back, legs, or bikini area.
Who is a candidate?
- Individuals with unwanted hair, particularly if this hair is significantly darker than the skin.
Procedure description.
This procedure is performed by a trained technician in Dr. Casso's office. No anesthetic is required. Laser energy is utilized to vaporize pigment cells associated with hair follicles, thereby rendering them inactive. Several treatments are typically required for optimum results.
Recuperation and healing.
Temporary redness typically follows each treatment; this typically resolves in several days. Re-treatment can be performed in several weeks.
