LAWRENCE ALBERT GOODMAN, M.D.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Goodman received his bachelor of science degree from The University of Wisconsin. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1976 from the Madison Medical School-University of Wisconsin. Dr. Goodman completed his internship and residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston from 1976 to 1979 and served as anesthesiology chief resident during his final year.

Dr. Goodman is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a Fellow in the American College of Anesthesiology. Other affiliations and memberships include American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, and Harris County Medical Association.

Dr. Goodman is a staff anesthesiologist for CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL. He was chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology for the hospital for four years and is the director of the Bay Area Health Network (PHO) since 1995.

RAKESH BHARDWAJ, M.D.

After receiving his bachelor of science from the University of Delhi, in Delhi, India, Dr. Bhardwaj attended the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi where he graduated with his M.D. in December of 1979. As a medical student, he was awarded the Gold Medal in Ophthalmology. His internship in rotating disciplines was completed at the Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami in Miami, Florida, in June of 1981. Dr. Bhardwaj also completed his residency in anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

A member of the anesthesiology staff at CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL since 1988, Dr. Bhardwaj is board certified in anesthesiology and has memberships in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Texas Medical Association of Harris County.

WILLIAM P. JONES, M.D.

An attending anesthesiologist for CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL, William P. Jones, M.D. also holds a teaching appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He has also served as the Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Director of Lecture Standing for Resident Teaching Program at UT-Galveston.

Dr. Jones completed his undergraduate studies at Delta State University and The University of Mississippi where he graduated in 1973 with a bachelor of science. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi and completed his anesthesiology residency in 1980 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

He is board certified in anesthesiology and holds memberships in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, and the International Anesthesia Research Society. Dr. Jones has contributed to medical publications including The Journal of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology.

MARK D. SAVRICK, M.D.

Since completing his anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, Mark D. Savrick, M.D. has been a staff anesthesiologist at CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL. Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he has a broad clinical practice with emphasis on outpatient anesthesia. In addition to plastic surgery cases, Dr. Savrick has a busy obstetrical unit and handles a large number of orthopedic, urological, vascular, thoracic, and pediatric cases. His practice includes all areas of anesthesia except open heart, and he has an active pain-management service.

Dr. Savrick received a bachelor of business administration with a degree in finance from the University of Texas in Austin in 1985. After graduation, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, receiving a doctor of medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and has written a paper that has been published in Anesthesia and Analgesia.

BACH N. LAM, M.D.

After receiving his bachelor of arts from Loma Linda University in Riverside, California, Bach N. Lam, M.D., attended Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas where he received his M.D. His postgraduate work included a pediatrics residency at the Texas Tech School of Medicine in Amarillo, Texas and an anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He also completed an advanced clinical year studying pediatric anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia.

Before joining CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL, Dr. Lam was a staff anesthesiologist at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, Texas. He has active memberships in the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Texas Medical Association, and the Harris County Medical Association. Dr. Lam has participated in numerous lectures, presentations, or seminars both at Texas Tech University School of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine.
