DANIEL CASSO, M.D. FACS

Dr. Casso was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, where he attended public schools. For his undergraduate preparation, he attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts studying economics and pre-med. After graduation from Harvard, Dr. Casso received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He served his internship and residency in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. While at St. Joseph, he also completed his residency in plastic surgery.

Dr. Casso was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1994, and he was elected as a Fellow to the American College of Surgeons in 1996. He was awarded a certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in November 1999. In addition, Dr. Casso has been a member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgery since 1997 and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons since 1994, as well as a Candidate Member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Casso has published articles in prestigious medical journals and has presented his research at major medical meetings, although the bulk of his professional career has been devoted to the care of his plastic surgery patients. Dr. Casso recently celebrated the completion of his 10th year in private practice on the campus of CHRISTUS ST. JOHN HOSPITAL.

Dr. Casso is married to Dr. Araceli G. Casso, a psychiatrist in private practice. The doctors Casso have two children, Andrew and Matthew, who attend schools in Clear Lake.

Dr. Casso's free time is devoted to family activities, church fellowship, and his hobby, fly fishing. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Tracy is a Certified Surgical Technologist, and has over twenty years' experience in the plastic surgery, with over sixteen years spent caring for Dr. Casso's plastic surgery patients. She has extensive experience in all aspects of office matters, including surgery scheduling, fee quoting, insurance filing, and assisting with office procedures. Tracy has been married for over twenty-five years, and has one son, and four miniature dachshunds.

Melody has worked with Dr. Casso for over fifteen years. She is an expert in the intricacies of insurance pre-authorization, pre-determination, and claims filing. Her warm manner with patients quickly puts them at ease during their visits in our office. Melody has been married over thirty years and has three children. Her personal life is closely involved in family activities.

Angela is a Surgical Technologist. She assists Dr. Casso in procedures in the office, as well as in the Operating Room. She has been married for twelve years and has three children.

Her busy home life centers around her children's many sporting activities, church events, as well as enjoying the outdoors.

Loire has worked for Dr. Casso for four years, specializing in insurance pre-authorizations, making appointments, and scheduling surgeries. She has been married for twenty five years and has two grown children. She loves traveling, fishing, and spending time with her children.

MARY HARDY, AESTHETICIAN

Mary is a licensed aesthetician and is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, and the Dermatology Nurses Association. She maintains continuing education certificates in BioMedic/La Roche-Posay, SkinMedica, and SkinCeuticals, and has participated in a Jane Iredale Master Class.
Her home life centers around the many school activities of her three children.
